Autonomous Region High tech Research and Development Plan - Research and Development of Hydrophobic Membrane for Desalination of Bitter and Salty Water

The project has developed two production formulas (polytetrafluoroethylene and polyvinylidene fluoride) for hollow hydrophobic membranes and their composite hydrophobic membrane materials suitable for desalination of brackish water, as well as the production process of hollow membranes. The membrane distillation mechanism, influencing factors, membrane pollution prevention methods, thermal energy recovery technology and equipment have also been studied. The desalination rate, water production and other indicators of its products have been tested and found to meet relevant standards.

We have established a hollow hydrophobic membrane production facility with an annual production capacity of 200000 square meters. Achieved sales revenue of 6.0426 million yuan and profits and taxes of 1.3483 million yuan. Applied for 1 invention patent and obtained 1 utility model patent.
