The shortage of water resources has always been the primary issue affecting the lives and production of the people in the region. If the solar membrane distillation system can be promoted to the field of desalination of brackish water in the whole region, it is expected to achieve the safety of drinking water for the people in Yuepu Lake, Jiashi, Bachu, Maigaiti and other areas in southern Xinjiang. The solar membrane distillation brackish water desalination device can not only reduce the unit water production cost of brackish water desalination technology to below 1.0 yuan/m3 (the operating cost of reverse osmosis ton water production is 4-5 yuan), but also reduce the water production cost; And it helps to improve the living standards of people in remote areas, is conducive to energy conservation and emission reduction, and achieves efficient utilization of water resources; Has good economic, environmental, and social benefits. During the project execution, we had the only local membrane product R&D and production team in Xinjiang, and also formed a sales team to promote the sales of membrane distillation related products using Delan's own national sales network and platform. Since the implementation of the project in 2019, we have been building, promoting, and advertising the DeLan healthy drinking water equipment brand. We have also utilized DeLan's advantages in the industrial market to sell our derivative product ultrafiltration membrane components. The cumulative output value over the past two years is 12.88 million yuan, with an actual market share of 2.1%. During the project implementation, 3 invention patents were applied for, of which 1 was authorized.
