Key R&D Program of the Autonomous Region - Research and Demonstration on Quality Recycling and System Resource Recycling of Printing and Dyeing Wastewater

In October 2022, the key research and development project of the autonomous region, "Research and Demonstration of Quality based Reuse and System Resource Recycling of Printing and Dyeing Wastewater", applied by Delan, was approved. The project revolves around the theme of "Quality based Reuse of Printing and Dyeing Wastewater and System Resource Recycling", based on the concepts of clean production and resource recovery. In response to the problems of large discharge of wastewater and solid waste, high water consumption, and difficulty in meeting tail water standards in the printing and dyeing industry, the project focuses on the difficulties in recovering saltwater and dyes, and low reuse rates of wastewater and crystalline salts. The technology, equipment, and methods for the reuse of printing and dyeing wastewater and resources are developed and demonstrated, achieving a reuse rate of 70% for printing and dyeing wastewater, 70% for in-situ reuse of inorganic salts, 30% reduction in solid waste emissions, and 30% utilization of tail water resources. At the same time, we will cultivate a research team for the recycling and utilization of textile printing and dyeing wastewater resources, as well as a joint organization integrating production, education, research, and utilization institutions, to provide technical support, talent guarantee, and application examples for the comprehensive promotion of water conservation and emission reduction in the textile printing and dyeing industry in our region.
