Mine Water Treatment and Utilization Project of No.5 Well in the West Area of Danan Lake, Hami Energy Co., Ltd., Xuzhou Mining Group

The No.5 mine shaft in the western area of the Dananhu mining area of Hami Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xuzhou Mining Group, is located in the eastern part of the western area of the Dananhu mining area in the Nantuha coalfield of Hami City, Xinjiang, within the territory of Dananhu Township and under the jurisdiction of Hami City. Within the minefield, there is a gravel access road that connects to the Hami-Lop Nur Highway (Provincial Highway 235) on the north side of the mining area, with a distance of 5km to the nearest point of the mining area. It is 61km north of Hami City and about 42km from the nearest residential area, Dananhu Township. It is 233km west of Shanshan. The Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway and Lianhuo Expressway (G30), as well as the Gansu-Xinjiang Highway (National Highway 312), pass through the east and north of the mining area. The nearest distance to the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway is about 71km, and the nearest distance to the Lianhuo Expressway is also about 71km.

A mine water treatment station with a design capacity of 450m3/h is designed. The incoming water mainly consists of dewatering water from the No.5 mine of Danan Lake. The water treatment system also includes sewage treatment, desalination tailwater utilization, and facilities for the treatment and disposal of sludge generated during wastewater treatment, as well as a comprehensive utilization pool for concentrated brine storage. Through the construction of this mine water treatment station, on the one hand, it can reduce the adverse impact of mine drainage discharge on the surrounding environment; on the other hand, the deeply treated mine drainage can meet the water requirements of the mine itself, alleviating the current situation of water shortage in the mine. At the same time, the excess desalinated fresh water can also be exported to power plants to meet part of their water demand, reducing the extraction of regional surface water.

Service Project for the Commissioned Operation (Annual Contract) of Wastewater Treatment Stations at Zhuhai No.1 and No.4 Factories of Zhuhai China Resources Chemical Materials Technology Co., Ltd

Zhuhai China Resources Chemical Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a large-scale chemical fiber textile manufacturing enterprise. Its production process route involves the use of PTA and EG as the main raw materials to produce PET polyester through a continuous method. The production process is primarily a chemical reaction process. The annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of PET polyester is completed in two phases. The first phase project was completed and put into operation in May 2012, with approximately 500 m3/d of production wastewater during the production process; the second phase generates approximately 550 m3/d of wastewater during production.

A certain amount of wastewater is generated during the production process. The wastewater in this process mainly includes polyester wastewater (mainly from the continuous drainage at the bottom of the gas stripping tower of the polyester plant, with the main pollutants being ethylene glycol and acetaldehyde), production and domestic wastewater (mainly from domestic sewage and ground flushing sewage in the polyester plant, tank area, and production area, with the wastewater mainly containing ethylene glycol, acetaldehyde, trace polymer particles, and other solid and liquid impurities, as well as domestic sanitary drainage from the entire plant), and circulating water drainage wastewater (mainly from the circulating cooling water system). Among them, polyester wastewater is high-concentration organic wastewater, and the COD pollution it generates accounts for 75-85% of the total pollution, making it a key target for control and treatment.

Wastewater treatment plant project of the Sixth Regiment in Aral City, First Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps

The sewage treatment plant of the Sixth Regiment in Aral City, First Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, primarily treats domestic sewage from the Sixth Regiment in Aral. With a treatment capacity of 2,000 cubic meters per day, the project was initiated in 2021 and completed in 2022. The sewage treatment process employs "A2/O + denitrification filter + contact disinfection technology", ensuring that the effluent quality meets the Class A standard of the "Emission Standards for Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants".

The Liutuan Wastewater Treatment Plant commenced its initial commissioning and operation in May 2022, and operated up to standard until September of the same year. Due to the pandemic, the operation of the wastewater treatment plant was suspended. In winter, some equipment suffered from frost damage due to unattended operation, and the internally cultivated bacterial cultures died. Therefore, the initial operational challenges of this project lie in troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment in winter, as well as restarting bacterial culture and commissioning work. After the commissioning is qualified, the system's water intake capacity needs to be immediately expanded, and the stored water in winter needs to be treated and disposed of.
