To further enhance the level of wastewater treatment and wastewater reuse capacity, PetroChina Karamay Petrochemical Co., Ltd. adopted the integrated technology of petroleum and petrochemical water supply, water conservation, and wastewater reuse system recommended by our company. In 2009, our company undertook the construction of a 300m3/h advanced treatment and reuse device for refinery wastewater. The industrial wastewater treated in this project was high-viscosity oil refining wastewater, which was challenging to treat. After treatment, the water was reused as makeup water for the circulating water system. The cooperation mode was EPC general contracting, responsible for the turnkey project of the entire project's design, construction, procurement, installation, and commissioning. This project won the second prize of the National Membrane Industry Association Science and Technology Progress Award and was an excellent project with the lowest economic cost in the PetroChina system.
The industrial water workshop of PetroChina Karamay Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has constructed waste gas collection pipelines and installed waste gas treatment facilities after covering the sewage pools at the south and north sewage lift stations. The waste gas treatment capacity is 1000m3/h for both stations (2 sets in total). The oil separation and flotation units of the wastewater treatment plant have also been covered and equipped with waste gas collection pipelines and treatment facilities, with a waste gas treatment capacity of 45000m3/h (1 set in total). The EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) general contracting includes project design, project procurement, project construction, and turnkey projects.
